Deacon William Hooks
Mission Statement
The mission of the Deacons is to serve the Lord in conducting the caring ministry of the church by doing work of benevolence, visiting the sick, being alert to the needs of the congregation, and freeing the Pastor to focus on the prayer and ministry of the Word, thus facilitating the spread of the Gospel and promoting unity within the church.
Responsibilities of FLCC Deacons
- Provide spiritual guidance at the event of grief and life struggles
- Visit and assist with the needs of those sick and shut in
- Assist in benevolent requests as they arise
- Facilitate the Baptism and Communion Service in collaboration with the Deaconess Ministry and Ministers
